The King of the jungle and the most charismatic musicians in the Congolese scene, Noel Ngiama Makanda popularly as Werrason is ending the year 2009 in style. Apart of the final touches to his latest album “Techno Malewa”, he  is also scheduled to perform in Kisangani, Matadi and outside the country.

Thought to be down on his knees after suffering a setback by the departure of his most experienced singers like Celeo + 10, Emelia, Kabose and others, werrason has once again proved that he is still a force to be reckoned with. He hired new musician and went ahead to record “Techno malewa”. Some singles of the album are already in the market for promotion purposes.

The remaining tubes are being worked at the Radio Television National Congolaise under the direction of the experienced veteran Suzzi Kaseya. The full release is eagerly awaited at the beginning of 2010.  Werrason is still counting on the expertise of his head singer, Heritier Watanabe.

Two months ago, Werrason shocked everyone by sacking all his female dancers for immorality. Female dancers in the Democratic republic of Congo are known to be assets to their bosses while on foreign tours who on their turn offer them as gifts to their benefactors. But Werrason broke rank with this routine.
