Floribert Chebeya, just another lost
Just a few days to celebrating half a century of its independence, Congolese from the Democratic Republic of Congo are still to come to term with the death of the most vocal and fearless Human Rights Activist that the country has ever had, Floribert Chebeya.
Chebeya 47, an Economics and Administration graduate hails from the war torn South Kivu province. He started his Human Rights activism in the early 1980s. He went and started the VSV (Voix de Sans Voix) Voice of Voiceless in English in the course of the year 1983.
