As Americans are still nursing the wounds caused by the effect of the global credit crunch, they have also deserted from their favourite's summer pas – time, “holidaying abroad”. Many are consuming their summer by zapping through local Medias.

Despite seeing their many attempts dismissed by the United States judiciary machinery several times during the lasts U.S presidential campaigns, a group of rhetoricians called the “ Birthers ” have been bothering the American presidency by implying that Barack Obama is not an American citizen and cannot hold the presidency.
Their theory got much weight when a commander in the U.S army forces refused to be deployed to Afghanistan arguing that Commander In Chief isn't an American citizen therefore not in the capacity of defending Americans interests. |

In response to these allegations, the White House's spokesperson, an angry Robert Gibbs told the press that “…I have news once more for them and for them all; the president was born in Honolulu , Hawai the 50 th state of the biggest country in the World. He is a Citizen.”
But the “Birthers” disagree. They argue that the First U.S.'s African American president was born in Kenya just like his father and later moved to Hawai. What is more amazing is that generally Americans are not news hungry in summer. Surprisingly these arguments are getting more and more coverage.
To re-assure Americans, Robert Gibbs has reminded them that one and a half year back, he asked that Barack Obama's birth certificate delivered in Hawai be availed on the internet. It showed that Obama was born in Honolulu on the 4 th of august 1961 at 19h24 local time.
To get to the bottom of the matter, a non partisan group affiliated to the University of Pennsylvania , FactCheck.org examined the birth certificate and also remarked that Obama's parents announced the birth of their son in a Honolulu newspaper's classified section on the 13 th of august 1961. Gibbs urged the “Birthers” to engage in more constructive discussion because there are over 10.000 topics that Americans would be interested in.
