Since the visit of the then US Senator Barack Obama to his grandmother in Kenya , She has become a total celebrity. Everyone would like to be associated with her. The government had offered her electricity at her rural home Kogelo where she stayed in darkness for all these years, diplomats, businessman, politicians and everyone in the who is who here in Kenya has at least a snap together with Sarah Obama. The Church doesn't not want to remain behind.

"We deplore the attempt by the Christian community to convert her(Sarah Obama) by force" declared Sheikh Mohamed Khalifa an member of the Imams Council of Kenya.
The Muslim leader wondered why now and not before her grandchild was elected president of the United States of America ?
Barack Obama half brother Said Obama confirmed the fact to AFP. He told the News agency that preachers paid Sarah a visited and made the proposition.
