The Indomitable Lions were receiving last saturday Les Eperviers du Togo. Composed of its usual team of the likes of Sanuel Etoo, Bikey, Geremi Njitap, Camerron was predicted already the winner of the game by many football lovers.
After a lot of dispute with Arsenal, the Togolese federation managed to get an injured Emmanuel Adebayor to as a moral boaster in the Team. Adebayor who has been nursing a knee injury was not likely to play but by everyone 's surprise he was named in the starting squad.
It later emerged that Adebayor was the man Togo needed to score its first goal at the 25th minutes of the match.
This first Togolese goal played as a wake up call for cameroonians who organised their offensive tactics to no avail. It is in fact Emmanuel Adebayor who caused more trouble again by obtaining a penalty kick. The mean Emmanuel decided to shoot for himself and the ball flew some inches on top of the transversal bar.
Togo emerged the winner of the game away in Cameroon.
