70 customs brokers took part in the training workshop on customs procedures and regulations for goods within the central corridor. All members of the Association of Customs Brokers. These participants will attend the workshop for 20 days and be lectured on different modules pertaining to their work.
On Monday, May 23rd, the attendant were informed about the procedure for customs clearance of goods at the port of Dar-es-salam. Two participants gave their impressions.

The first, a lady said: “on this first day of the training, I am really satisfied because I have learned some shortcomings that I had about the port of Dar-es-salaam. At the end of the training I will have solutions to the difficulties related to liability in the event of loss of goods”.
As for the second interviewee, we will reap huge benefits after the training because they say life is a learning process. Technology evolves, science evolves. We have had other training and it doesn’t hurt to learn more. We hope that this training will improve our quality of work. We will pass on the achievement to other custom brokers in order to make work pleasant and competitive, to the satisfaction of economic operators and the state.
The training workshop is held in Bukavu with the technical and financial support of the CCTTFA.
